Due to mobile nature of the nodes and unreliable wireless channels for data transmission, frequent link failures occurs in mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET). This leads to research in multipath extension of the routing protocols. This paper proposed a link-disjoint multipath AODV (LD-MPAODV) routing mechanism to increase the robustness of routing process in MANET.
